Car and lorry crash blocks major road on Cambridgeshire border

Traffic is easing along a major A-road that closed due to a crash. The A14 westbound at Exning partially closed just after 10am on Thursday (September 11). This was due to a crash that involved a car and lorry.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.10am to J37 at Exning to a collision involving a car and a lorry. No injuries." Traffic monitoring site Inrix said the road is now clear.
It said: "Road cleared and traffic easing, accident cleared on A14 Westbound from J38 A11 (Red Lodge) to J37 A142 Fordham Road (Newmarket / Exning)."
