Motorcyclist fighting for life after crash with lorry near A55 junction

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with "life-threatening" injuries, after a crash involving a lorry in Conwy[1] this morning. The 6G Road - that links the A55[2] and Llandudno[3] Junction - was closed while emergency services worked at the scene. A North Wales Police[4] statement said: "At 7:40 a.m. today (Wednesday, 20 August), we received reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a heavy goods vehicle on 6G Road in Llandudno Junction[5].
"Officers attended and imposed a temporary road closure, while paramedics provided medical assistance at the scene. The motorcyclist was subsequently conveyed to hospital with life-threatening injuries." The road was still reported "partially blocked" by the Inrix traffic monitoring service at 11.37am today.
