Major motorway closed after horror crash involving lorry and bike

The M5 was closed after a crash involving a motorbike and a lorry. Gloucestershire Constabulary has issued a statement on the incident. A spokesperson for the force said: "The southbound carriageway on the M5 motorway is closed at junction 11 due to a serious collision. "A two-vehicle collision was reported to us at around 3.25pm today (Saturday) and emergency services, including an air ambulance, are in attendance.
"Motorists have also been temporarily held on the northbound carriageway to allow for the air ambulance to land. "Motorists are advised to use alternative routes."
