Live M60 updates as crash leaves motorway closed to traffic in Greater Manchester

Traffic is held on the M60 due to a two-vehicle crash tonight (Friday, August 29). Police are at the scene on the clockwise carriageway near Junction 14. The incident was first reported shortly after 10pm.

Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "M60 clockwise closed due to accident from J13 A572 Worsley Brow (Worsley) to J14 A580 East Lancashire Road." "We are awaiting updates from Greater Manchester Police before we can reopen lanes past the scene. "There are 60 minutes delays on approach." This is a live incident.
