High street blocked after car and truck crash

A high street is blocked after a car and a truck crashed. Chertion High Street, Folkestone, is partially closed with police on the scene.

A flatbed truck and a car were involved, and traffic information site Inrix says there are queues in the area. The crash happened near the junction with Risborough Lane.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 7.45am today to a collision involving a truck and a car in Cheriton High Street.

"Officers are currently at the scene, where no injuries have been reported."
