Europa enhances carbon reporting with emissions calculator

It said it chose Blue Yonder for its ability to deliver precise and detailed carbon emissions reports, leveraging millions of data points through advanced emissions modelling. The logistics emissions calculator provides GLEC-accredited and ISO 14083-aligned calculations. Europa said it had previously faced challenges with its in-house emissions reporting method and that since implementing Blue Yonder's solution it had seen a significant increase in customer engagement with emissions reporting.

"The integration of Blue Yonder's emission reporting capabilities underscores our dedication to maximizing strategic efforts in enhancing sustainability within logistics," said Tom Jenkins, central services director at Europa Worldwide Group.

Europa Worldwide said it planned to extend the logistics emissions calculator to its air and sea customers by the end of 2025.
