Wakefield lorry crash latest as HGV overturns blocking road

An overturned lorry has shut a major route in Wakefield this morning (Friday, July 18). The crashed HGV is blocking the A642 with the A61 Jacobs Well Lane shut in both directions at the A642 turn-off. Traffic scanners reported the crash at 7.10am and traffic is coping well.
