New M5 Cotswolds Designer Outlet shopping outlet opens
The new M5 shopping centre which has been highly anticipated for many years is set to open today. The Cotswolds Designer Outlet finally opens near Tewkesbury as around 50 shops will be welcoming customers. The flagship shopping centre is packed with big names from fashion, retail, and food and drink.
Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, BOSS, Saltrock and M&S join Wagamama, Zizzi, Five Guys and Lindt to entice customers from across the region. Hundreds of jobs have been created and it's hoped it will deliver an economic boom, as GloucestershireLive reports.[1][2] The first phase of the huge shopping[3] development is hosting a special preview week this morning.
More shops are planned in phase 2 to eventually take the total to 90 and around 1,500 homes are also planned for the surrounding area as the mammoth construction project that is transforming the area around junction 9 of the M5.
