Man dies after A602 crash near Stevenage

Police have appealed for witnesses, information and dash cam footage after the crash on the Watton-at-Stone Bypass, just past Mill Lane at around 6.20pm. The crash involved a lorry and Vauxhall Corsa, with a force spokesperson confirming that the driver and sole occupant of the Corsa - a man in his 20s - was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police.

Work to begin on GBP250k revamp of Hitchin's King George V skatepark[2] Sergeant Luke Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the man's loved ones at this difficult time. "As part of our investigation, I'd like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the collision or saw the events leading up to it.
If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something that could assist with our investigation."
Police have asked that information be reported online or by calling 101 and quoting ISR 718 of 11 July.
