M11 driver died when lorry ‘breached’ central barrier in Essex

A man was killed when a lorry "breached the central reservation" on a motorway and struck his vehicle, an inquest heard.

Luke Cusack suffered fatal head injuries in the collision on the M11 in Essex, the coroner's court was told.

It happened as the 21-year-old, from Loughton, was driving near Great Hallingbury, south of London Stansted Airport, at about 14:30 BST on 16 June.

The lorry driver, 57, was arrested on suspicion of causing both Mr Cusack's death and seriously injuring another man by dangerous driving.
