Lorry crash stops traffic on M25

Motorists are facing long delays on the M25 following a crash involving a car and a lorry. The collision happened on the anti-clockwise carriageway shortly before 1pm this afternoon (July 30). All traffic was temporarily held soon after.
Lanes have since been reopened but there is queueing traffic for two miles due to the crash, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix. Those travelling from Clacket Lane Services to junction 5 for the M26 are likely to be affected by the incident. Work to clear the vehicles involved is ongoing.
