Lorry crash causing diesel spillage closes major Essex road

One lane remains closed after a crash involving a lorry on the M11. A lorry crashed into the central reservation just after 3pm today (Tuesday, July 8) on the M11 southbound in Essex between J7 at Harlow and J6 towards the M25. The crash resulted in a diesel spillage along the road.
One lane out of three remains closed. A National Highways spokesperson said: "1 lane (of 3) remains closed in both directions on the #M11[1] in #Essex[2] between J7 (#Harlow[3]) and J6 (#M25[4]). This follows a collision involving a lorry which struck the central reservation barrier and caused a large fuel spillage.
There's a 35 minute delay both ways."
