Logistics UK’s Vision Helps Operators Manage Risk

Only 23% of risk and compliance professionals are confident in the accuracy and actionability of their risk management data, with just 5% very confident in their ability to use it to guide decisions, according to recent industry research surveying over 300 global professionals1. In response to this growing need for clarity and applicable knowledge, Logistics UK has launched the latest module for Vision, its innovative compliance suite, to provide transport operators with unified and data-driven dashboards to transform risk monitoring and management across fleets, workforce and organisation. The new 'Risk' module, available to users now collates data from across the Vision platform including tachograph analysis, PCNs, vehicle inspections, training, licence checks, collision data, operator licensing and telematics data to generate an overall business risk score.

Focussing on three key areas of risk  - asset, employee, organisation  - the module is designed to improve decision-making for transport operators by providing a clear picture of where the greatest threats to business performance lie. "Forewarned is forearmed," comments Logistics UK Digital Development Director Jemma James, "and actively monitoring risk indicators buys businesses time to address issues before they negatively impact operations, and ultimately the balance sheet." According to Logistics UK, Vision Risk provides an intuitive dashboard that uses familiar graphs and charts to present insights from complex analyses of risk.  The real-time analysis shows a calculated value for factors including inspections and service history; collisions and driving style as well as staff turnover and environmental concerns giving operators a clear picture of their operations' risk level.

Drawing on over 40 configurable data sources, Vision Risk integrates with all Vision data modules and external partner APIs including Samsara, AddSecure, GeoTab. Ms James adds, "The new module is also fully compliant with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards and includes tailored reporting functions and alerting tools to ensure both usability and peace of mind. Operators can now finally consolidate complex compliance data into one unified view, helping them prevent costly incidents and remain compliant with minimal effort.

This is risk intelligence built for real-world logistics."
