Live: M5 traffic stopped over motorway ‘obstruction’
Traffic has been stopped on the M5 in Gloucestershire due to an 'obstruction on the road'. Both directions of the motorway are being affected at junction 12 for Quedgeley. Traffic camera images show both carriageways have been held, causing delays to build in the area.
It is currently unclear why traffic has been stopped. Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to obstruction on the road on M5 in both directions at J12 A430 (Quedgeley/Hardwicke)." We will keep you updated with our live blog below.
