Live: M5 blocked due to crash heading north

There are delays on the M5 in Somerset this morning due to a crash. The accident has happened on a stretch between Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare. Traffic heading north is reported to be slow.

The traffic site Inrix reported the incident shortly before 11am on Saturday (July 19). It says: "Slow traffic due to accident on M5 Northbound from J22 ( Burnham-on-sea ) to J21 A370 ( Weston-super-mare )." You can read the latest updates in our live blog below.
