FLS Group recruits Tim Phillips as non-exec director to drive growth

Phillips brings over 25 years' experience scaling logistics platforms and spearheading digital-first freight solutions across Europe, as well as strategic insight and an extensive industry network, which the company said will play a key role in accelerating FLS's aim to become a leading digital road freight provider in the UK and EU. Prior to joining FLS Group, Phillips held senior executive roles at BMW Group, UPS-acquired Freightex, where he became President of Coyote Europe, and most recently digital freight platform sennder Technologies, where he served as chief growth officer and was instrumental in scaling operations to 11 offices and a EUR1bn valuation. Announcing Phillips' appointment, FLS Group said he brings deep expertise in FTL and tech-enabled brokerage models; hands-on leadership in AI/ML-driven optimisation tools for pricing, routing, and carrier management; proven ability to scale digital platforms across complex markets; and a robust EU-wide network of logistics professionals, investors, and technology partners.
Ieuan Rosser, FLS Group chief executive, commented: "Tim's appointment as non-executive director marks a pivotal step in our growth strategy. "As we double down on our ambition to lead the digital transformation of road freight, his unrivalled track record in building high-performing, tech-enabled logistics platforms will be invaluable. "His input will support our expansion into new markets, deepen our tech capabilities, and ensure we continue to deliver operational excellence at scale."
Phillips added: "I'm excited to support FLS at such a transformational time.
The market is moving quickly--those who combine real-time data with smart technology will lead the next wave.
"FLS has a powerful foundation, and I look forward to contributing to its strategic development and international growth."
