Busy Devon A-road blocked due to lorry crash

A busy A-road in Devon was blocked following a lorry crash this afternoon, Friday, July 18. The A380 at Kingsteignton was blocked southbound due to the crash. Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the crash took place between the A381 Teignmouth Road and A381 Torquay Road.

It said: "A380 South Devon Highway Southbound blocked, slow traffic due to multi-vehicle accident between A381 Teignmouth Road (Ware Barton Roundabout, Kingsteignton ) and A381 Torquay Road (Penn Inn Roundabout, Newton Abbot)." A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We were called at around 4.10pm on Friday 18 July following a report of a multi-vehicle collision on Besigheim Way near Kingsteignton. "The crash involved a lorry and a car.

"The road was blocked as a result.

"No injuries reported.
