A12 in Colchester closed after lorry overturns

A section of a dual carriageway was closed after a lorry overturned.

The southbound stretch of the A12 Colchester bypass was blocked between junction 28 for Colchester United's football ground and junction 27 for the A133.

Essex Police said it was called shortly after 11:40 BST.

Footage of the aftermath of the crash, posted to social media, showed items scattered across the road although police confirmed nobody was injured.
