Pall-Ex unveils Veterans into Logistics livery to mark new gold partnership

Pall-Ex has joined forces with Veterans into Logistics to raise awareness of the charity's work supporting ex-military personnel into new careers as HGV drivers. Veterans into Logistics, based in Greater Manchester, trains and mentors Armed Forces veterans, helping them transition to civilian employment. In recognition of its new Gold Partner status with the charity, Pall-Ex has unveiled a striking new livery on its latest Volvo tractor unit, emblazoned with the Veterans into Logistics branding.

The unit will operate across the UK, promoting the charity's mission nationwide. Pall-Ex said it is committed to supporting service leavers and is a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant. The business has also earned the Ministry of Defence's Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for its dedication to helping veterans reintegrate into civilian life.

Darren Wright, founder of Veterans into Logistics and a former Royal Artillery airborne gunner, said: "It is fantastic to see the charity's livery on the Pall-Ex tractor unit, and I am delighted to welcome Pall-Ex as a Gold partner supporter of Veterans into Logistics for their commitment to employing former military personnel. "Pall-Ex's dedication to Armed Forces veterans and service leavers is evident as the company has many ex-military employees from drivers through to its directors. "Their belief in supporting careers after the military aligns with our own, and I'm excited for the future of our partnership and what we will achieve together supporting veterans into employment."

Kevin Buchanan, Pall-Ex Group chief executive, added: "We are delighted to unveil our new livery in partnership with Veterans into Logistics, furthering our support of the Armed Forces community.

"The work that Veterans into Logistics is doing to encourage ex-military personnel into the industry is commendable, and Pall-Ex Group are proud to support the charity as a Gold Patron and with the addition of the new livery."
