Motorcyclist, 41, dies after crash with flatbed lorry
A motorcyclist from Kent has died after a crash involving a car and a bike. Police are investigating the fatal collision, which happened in Brighton Road, Shermanbury in Sussex, at about 12.30pm on Wednesday.
It resulted in the death of a 41-year-old man from Ashford. The incident involved the bike and a white DAF LF 210 flatbed lorry.
A 58-year-old man, from Upper Beeding, has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call 101 in a bid to help their investigation.
