‘Membership Matters’ Survey by UK Warehousing Association

The UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) has rolled out an independent membership survey as part of this year's 'Membership Matters' campaign. The survey aims to identify the key benefits and activities currently most valued by members and to invite feedback for the future development of UKWA's membership package. Members will also be asked about the major business challenges facing the sector, and any areas where UKWA could strengthen its support.

The survey is expected to highlight topics that matter to members, which UKWA will address through events and content. UKWA Chief Executive Clare Bottle commented, "Last year UKWA's Year of Warehousing campaign focused on promoting the importance of the sector to supply chains and to the UK economy. This year, we're turning the spotlight onto our own organisation and asking how we can better understand and respond to what our members need, enabling us to deliver more value.

We exist to serve our members, therefore we constantly seek to add new membership benefits - last year, for example, we introduced the first ever Warehouse Manager CPC (Certificate of Competence) as well as a dedicated Modern Slavery Policy for warehousing.  However, we recognise that there's always room to improve and grow. Accordingly, our 'Membership Matters' initiative is all about listening to what matters to our members and making sure they know that their membership matters to us!"

Launched at IWLEX on 3 June, the Membership Matters survey will run throughout the month, closing on 27 June.

Those participating will be entered into a prize draw for two tickets to UKWA's exclusive House of Lords Luncheon on 14 October.
