It's the latest motorway maintenance scheme to take place in the region.

A brand new A-road has opened up, the A4545 from J5a, Clock Interchange of the M42, helping to improve congestion.

While improvement work at Junction 6, Gravelly Hill Interchange, to boost capacity and reduce congestion, is set to be complete this winter.

"We appreciate the frustrations that roadworks can cause and we're extremely grateful to the local community for their patience and will continue to listen to people's concerns and act on them where appropriate."
