M25 recap as lorry and car crash saw two lanes closed

Two lanes on the M25 were closed after a lorry and car were involved in a crash on Monday morning (June 30). The crash happened on the M25 clockwise at the QE2 Bridge. There were long traffic delays in the area.

Around a mile of congestion built up from J29 Romford and A13 past Grays back to the Baker Street exit (Tilbury) and from the east out of London after Wennington. Emergency services were contacted for more information. Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said: "Long delays and two lanes closed due to accident on M25 clockwise at the QE2 Bridge.

Congestion to a mile from J29 Romford, and A13 queues past Grays back to the Baker Street exit (Tilbury), and east coming out of London after Wennington."
