LIVE M62 traffic as motorway closed following three-vehicle crash

Emergency services are on the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the M62 this afternoon (June 9). All traffic has been stopped heading east, close to junction 12 with the M60. Congestion is building in the area.
Delays are currently estimated at 30 minutes with four miles of queueing traffic. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and make alternative travel arrangements where possible. Images from the scene show two lorries and a car have been involved in the incident.
Debris can be seen littering the carriageway. A spokesperson for National Highways said: "Traffic has been STOPPED on the M62 eastbound in Greater Manchester between J11 (Risley) and J12 (M60) due to a collision involving two cars and a lorry. "All emergency services are attending the scene.
There's a 30 minute delay on approach with 4 miles of congestion."
