Drivers to face major disruption in Renfrew amid busy route closure

Arkleston Road will stay shut after a lorry smashed into a bridge last Wednesday. The crash caused major delays on the M8 westbound before the carriageway reopened at 7pm. It has now been confirmed that the route will stay closed until Transport Scotland, in conjunction with engineering firm Amey, assess the damage later this week.
