Emergency services descended on the scene[1] shortly after 3pm on June 5, but the 63-year-old died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

An inquest opening today at Oakwood House, Maidstone, heard Mr Todorov, who lived in Bulgaria, had died from multiple injuries sustained when his lorry "rolled over". Coroner Sarah Clarke said: "The collision involved a Bulgarian-registered heavy goods vehicle which left the carriageway to the nearside on approach to the slip road. "The vehicle drifted onto the hard shoulder and onto a grass verge between the main carriageway and the slip-road, crushing roadside furniture where the lorry had rolled over."

Toxicology reports are yet to be submitted, and the cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Following the tragedy, which led to the M20 being closed for than 12 hours, many people took to social media to pay their respects. One person wrote: "It's heartbreaking to think about how hard those people work with so little support.

"I truly hope he had a fulfilling life and received the respect he deserved."
