Crash between car and lorry causing delays

Delays have been reported on the A354 Portland Road, leading to Portland Beach Road, following a crash between a car and a lorry.  The force and paramedics were on the scene and according to police, minor injuries were reported at the scene.  One motorist in the area said: "There has been a crash going towards Portland involving a lorry and a car.

There are paramedics on the scene and traffic seems to be queueing as far as the Buxton Road."

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 12.11pm on Monday, June 30 of a collision involving a lorry and a car in Portland Road in Weymouth.

"Officers attended and minor injuries were reported."
