Crash between car and lorry causes delays on A90 at Glencarse

Drivers faced delays on the A90 between Perth and Dundee after a crash involving a car and a lorry. The collision on the northbound carriageway happened just after 10.30am on Monday. Footage shared on social media showed a car had collided with the back of the lorry.

It has not been confirmed if there were any injuries. The incident caused delays but the road is now said to be running well[1]. A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We got a call from Police Scotland[2] at 10.31am asking us to attend a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A90 at Glencarse.

"We sent two appliances who have since left the scene. "No action from the fire service was required. "This matter is now with Police Scotland."
