Bellamy steps up at Thames Freeport

Bellamy steps up at Thames Freeport Bellamy currently serves as the chair of Salamanca Group. According to Martin Whiteley, ceo of Thames Freeport, "Martin's [Bellamy's] expertise in delivering complex, high-value projects and attracting international investment will be invaluable as we shape the next chapter of the Freeport's growth."

His experience includes securing the GBP5 billion (USD6.74 billion) Tata/Jaguar Land Rover battery gigafactory project at Gravity, and leading the acquisiton and sale of the former Britishvolt site in northeast England, which is set to become a 1.1 GW AI data campus.

Thames Freeport is a regional development programme which spans 312 sq km across the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham and Havering, as well as Thurrock in Essex.

It is a collaboration between private and public sectors, underpinned by founding partners DP World[1], Ford Motor Company, and Forth Ports
