Man in his 20s dies after Torquay bin lorry incident

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal incident involving a bin lorry in Torquay.

Emergency services were called to Higher Warberry Road[1] at 12:43pm on Tuesday, 27 May, after reports of a collision involving a white bin lorry and a member of the crew.

A man in his 20s, from the local area, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the Health and Safety Executive has been notified.
