Major junction CLOSED as lorry overturns and leaves huge pile of debris

A major junction has been closed this afternoon after a lorry overturned. Pictures show an HGV on its side on the roundabout near Cutacre Country Park in Little Hulton. A large amount of debris appears to have been left in the road.

It is not yet known if anybody has been injured. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been approached for comment. According to Google Maps, the A6 Salford Road has been closed following the incident on the roundabout near the Pine Tree Farm pub.

A section of the roundabout has also been shut off. The junction is close to junction four of the M61. Google indicates there is heavy traffic in the area.
