M6 live updates as ‘all traffic held’ in Staffordshire due to police incident
Motorists are being warned of huge delays on the M6[1] in Staffordshire due to a 'police incident'. All traffic is being held as officers deal with the ongoing incident on the northbound side between junctions 14 and 15. The nature of the police incident - which was first reported shortly after 4pm - is not known at this stage.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "All traffic being temporarily held and long delays due to police incident on M6 in both directions near Stafford Services. Prior to 16:20 all traffic was held. Stafford Services is located between J14 and J15."
