M25 huge delays as lorry smashes into barrier

Lanes have been closed on the M25 in Essex this morning after a lorry has reportedly hit a barrier. Drivers heading on the M25 in a clockwise direction will be impacted. The crash took place just before J30 A13 (Lakeside / Purfleet) at about 3.45am this morning (May 28).
As a result, there is congestion to J29 A127 (Romford). The lorry reportedly hit the barrier, and blocked lanes 1 and 2 on the busy Essex motorway. It has been reported that the barrier requires immediate repair, with works causing delays.

The HGV involved has struck the nearside barrier that requires immediate repair. There are delays of up to 30 mins on the approach at this stage." Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted in relation to this incident.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area where possible.
