M2 London bound between junction 3 for Chatham and junction 2 for Rochester closed for emergency roadworks
Three lanes are closed on a busy motorway while repairs take place to an "infrastructure defect". The M2 London-bound between junction 3 (Chatham) and junction 2 (Rochester) are closed for emergency roadworks.
As a result, the junction 2 westbound exit slip road is also closed at this stage. National Highways confirmed specialist contractors are working to complete an immediate repair.
Traffic reporting tool Inrix is warning on delays of around 20 minutes.
