M5 drivers faced huge queues after Gloucestershire crash

A huge backlog of traffic on the M5 in Gloucestershire has cleared after a crash. All traffic was stopped on the motorway at Gloucester this afternoon (Wednesday, May 7). Huge queues built on the road and delays are expected this afternoon.
Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M5 Northbound from M5 (Gloucester Services) to J11A A417 (Gloucester/Cirencester). "Camera shows no traffic is passing through from around 15:00, between J12 (Quedgeley/Hardwicke) and J11A (Gloucester/Brockworth Bypass)." Gloucestershire Police said four vehicles were involved in the collision on the motorway and no injuries were reported at the scene.
Delays on the road cleared by around 5pm.
