Live M25 updates as crash causes severe delays of up to 70 minutes and road closure at M23 junction
The entry slip road on the M23 northbound in Surrey is closed at junction 8 for Redhill and Merstham following a collision on Saturday lunchtime, May 24. After a brief hold of traffic, lane one of three is also shut on the M25 anticlockwise within junction 7 for Redhill and junction 8 for the M23. National Highways South East posted on Twitter that there were delays of up to 70 minutes on the approach.
Travel monitoring website Inrix also said there were "severe delays". It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved or if any injuries have been reported. SurreyLive is conacting the emergency services.
