Live as lorry fire shuts down M62 lanes at Huddersfield

Delays are building up on the M62 after a lorry fire near Huddersfield. According to the traffic management system, Inrix, two lanes have been closed on the M62 due to a lorry fire. This is from junction 24 at the A629 and junction 23 at the A640 New Hey Road.
Congestion is building to junction 25 at Brighouse and traffic was briefly held earlier. This has been ongoing since around 4.27pm this afternoon. Inrix said: "Severe delays and two lanes closed due to lorry fire on M62 Westbound from J24 A629 (Ainley Top) to J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield).
Congestion to before J25 (Brighouse). Note change of details. "Two (of three) lanes are closed after traffic was briefly held."
Separately, in the eastbound direction, all traffic is now being held following an accident. Inrix added: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M62 Eastbound from J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) to J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield). "All traffic held eastbound.
The westbound side congested due to the earlier lorry fire."
