Devon crash, involving a lorry and a car, leads to emergency service response

DEVON and Cornwall Police responded to a crash that occurred on Honiton Road, Exeter involving a lorry and a car. Devon Alert reported a road traffic collision that took place at around 11.08am on Friday, May 2 on Moor Lane at the junction of Honiton Road, Exeter. According to a spokesperson, the traffic was very heavy at around midday to drivers were recommended to find an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey at the time.

No injuries were reported following the road traffic incident. A spokesperson for the Devon and Cornwall police said: "Police were called just before 11am today, 2 May, following a two-vehicle collision on Honiton Road, Exeter. "Involved a lorry and a car at Moor Lane roundabout [by the park and ride].

"No injuries reported.

"The road was blocked but all clear by 11.20am."
