Woman airlifted to hospital after lorry crash on M4

A woman was airlifted to hospital following a collision with a lorry on the M4. Reports of congestion and partial closure of the M4 were received yesterday (April 22) around 6pm. The road was closed between Junction 22 and Junction 23 on the Prince of Wales bridge and didn't reopen until around 9pm

Motorists were advised to find alternative routes and diversions were in place via the M48 Severn Bridge. The reason for this being an incident involving a driver and a lorry. The road has since reopened, and traffic flow is back to normal.
