Updates as M1 lorry fire shuts multiple lanes
Lane 4 released
Traffic has now been released in lane 4 on the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire between Junctions 25 (Stapleford) and 26 (Nottingham), according to the latest update from National Highways.
However, all other lanes remain closed as the fire service continues to work at the scene of the lorry fire.
Delays are still significant, with an hour wait on approach, stretching back towards Junction 23 near East Midlands Airport.
