Man to stand trail over death of woman in M2 motorway crash
A man is to stand trial accused of causing the death of a woman in a motorway crash near Belfast.
Jenny Dunlop, who was 59, died from injuries sustained in a four-vehicle collision on the M2 close to the Sandyknowes junction on March 5, 2023.
Jonathan McNeill appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with causing her death by dangerous driving.
The 39-year-old defendant, of Hollowburn Road in Antrim, faces a further count of perverting the course of justice.
It is alleged that he deleted applications and call record data from his mobile phone on the day of the crash.
