Ludlow road reopens after early hour lorry crash

Firefighters and police were called after a lorry collided with multiple vehicles at Lower Galdeford before hitting a railway bridge and building. It happened at around 00.26am this morning (Monday, April 28). Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent four fire engines, including the rescue tender, as well as an operations officer to help.

West Mercia Police officers were also there with emergency services working together to understand the extent of the damage and any safety implications. READ MORE: West Mercia Police has confirmed that nobody was injured during the incident and no arrests have been made.
