Lorry crashes and gets stuck in river
A lorry has crashed into a river in Cornwall and forced a road closure[1]. Emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision involving a HGV which left the road at Roche and ended up flipped onto its side partially in a river. We will keep you updated with live blog posts below.
The collision took place at around 1.15pm today, Wednesday, April 23. Devon and Cornwall Police[2] said the driver has not been injured in the crash. Roche Road has been closed between Roche and Bugle and a police spokesperson said it may be closed for some time to recover the lorry. We will keep you updated with our live blog below.
