Lorry crashes and gets stuck in river

A lorry has crashed into a river in Cornwall and forced a road closure[1]. Emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision involving a HGV which left the road at Roche and ended up flipped onto its side partially in a river. The collision took place at around 1.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 23). Devon and Cornwall Police[2] said the driver has not been injured in the crash.

Roche Road had been closed between Roche and Bugle and a police spokesperson said it may be closed for some time to recover the lorry.
