Lorry collides with car at Bakers Arms roundabout

On Monday April 14, at around 4:28pm, police received a report of a crash involving a lorry and a car just off the Bakers Arms roundabout, on the A35 Upton bypass in Lytchett Minster.  A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 4.28pm on Monday 14 April 2025, we received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry on the A35 Upton bypass near the Bakers Arms roundabout." The road was temporarily blocked, with one of the lanes being shut. 

One eye-witness stated that there were a 'bunch of people sat on the road beside the car' and 'it seems as if the car had been pushed along by the lorry'. 

Dorset Police officers were in attendance and left the scene at around 6:15pm. 

A spokesperson added: "The road was temporarily blocked, minor injuries were reported and no arrests were made."
