Havant man, 48, seen along the M40 charged with murder

Officers were called at 9.42am on Thursday, April 17, after reports were made that a male was walking alone next to the 70mph road. He was seen by Junction 3, which is near Loudwater. However, according to the Portsmouth News,[1] the man, who was met by the authorities, allegedly told the force about the death of a woman in Timsbury Crescent, Havant.
Following this, officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary attended the property where the body of a female in her 40s was discovered. A murder investigation was opened, and the force has confirmed that Norbert Maiksner, 48, of Timsbury Crescent, has been charged with the crime. He is due to appear at East Hampshire Remand Court in Portsmouth on Easter Monday [Monday, April 21].
The force said: "In an earlier statement, we said the arrested person was from High Wycombe.
"It has now been confirmed Maiksner's address is Timsbury Crescent, Havant."
