Delays on M20 after crash involving lorry and car

A crash involving a car and a lorry caused delays on a motorway. The M20 London-bound was partially blocked between junction 9 for Ashford and junction 8 for Maidstone.

According to National Highways, drivers were facing queues of up to 30 minutes. The accident was within the contraflow, which has already reduced the M20 to two lanes and a 50mph speed limit.

As of 6.50pm, the delays were said to be clearing.
