Country road closed following crash involving lorry and car

At around 8.53am on Wednesday, April 16, officers from Thames Valley Police and two fire crews from Gerrards Cross and Langley attended the scene along Southlands Road in Iver. One man was medically trapped but was eventually released by the firefighters, who passed him into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. To help the person in question, firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment.

A statement from Bucks Fire and Rescue reads: "A full road closure was implemented and firefighters supported with scene safety."

The road reopened several hours later.
