Clark Water fuels sustainable growth in Clark Freeport Zone, Philippines

Clark Water, a Manila Water Non-East Zone operating unit [1], is playing a vital role in driving sustainable development in the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) through strategic investments in water and wastewater infrastructure. Since being acquired by Manila Water in 2011, the company has invested PHP4.2 billion (about USD 73 million) to modernize and expand services, supporting the zone's rapid economic growth. As a key partner of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Clark Water ensures round-the-clock water service and full coverage for both water supply and wastewater treatment.

These efforts have led to 100% compliance with national standards on drinking water and effluent, and an impressively low Non-Revenue Water (NRW) rate of 6%. "Clark Water's ongoing upgrades and capacity expansions ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality water and wastewater services, addressing the evolving needs of businesses and communities within the Clark Freeport Zone," said CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes Devanadera.

Clark Water's infrastructure improvements include new facilities, rehabilitated networks, and enhanced operational systems -- all designed to meet the growing demand from businesses and residents in the zone. The company's close coordination with CDC has ensured efficient implementation of its service goals. "Despite our achievements, our work in the Clark Freeport Zone is far from complete," said Lyn Joceffin Zamora, General Manager of Clark Water. "As new developments, locators, and challenges continue to emerge, Clark Water remains proactive in expanding its infrastructure and resources."
