Bikes seized after gang of motorcyclists spotted speeding and ‘riding dangerously’ on M11

Traffic police have seized motorbikes after a group of bikers were reported for riding dangerously on a motorway.
Police said they were called on Saturday afternoon after a group of around a dozen riders were seen speeding and "riding dangerously" on the M11 between Newport and Stansted Airport.
Officers intercepted the riders as they arrived at Birchanger Services and two people were arrested.
A 35-year-old man from Enfield was questioned on suspicion of drug driving, while a second man was arrested for a public order offence, but later de-arrested at the scene.
Four motorbikes were seized using police anti-social driving powers and a number of riders were reported for road traffic offences.
Police said if anyone has any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage they should get in touch with them quoting incident 803 of 5 April.
