Verge TS Pro Electric Motorcycle with Hubless Design Travels from Monaco to Madrid in 1-Day

What sets the Verge TS Pro, a futuristic electric motorcycle[1], apart from the competition is its hubless rear wheel. Instead of a normal hub motor, it integrates its electric motor directly into the rim of the rear wheel. That's right, electromagnets repel each other to spin the wheel to drive the bike forward.

It makes 135 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, enabling the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to around 124 mph. This hubless design eliminates traditional drivetrain components like chains or belts, reducing maintenance and driveline losses.

The Verge TS Pro recently made headlines with an impressive 850-mile (1,366 km) journey from Monaco to Madrid, completed in under 24 hours. With a claimed city range of 217 miles, the bike needed multiple charging stops along the way.
Thanks to its fast-charging capability (80% in 35 minutes) and compatibility with Tesla Superchargers, they kept downtime low.
